Currently most of the content for my Visual Diary is digitally based, although I do have some items I have found in physical formats on a pinboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have steadily built up a section of creative individuals that I follow on Instagram<\/strong><\/a>, over 100 to date, which I find a great way of regularly viewing current work by practitioners that I admire. I can then follow up on any posts that are of particular interest. Instagram is the generally only form of social media that I find appealing due to it being image-based rather than text. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I also have built up a selection of pinboards in Pinterest<\/a><\/strong>. Although most of the pinboards have been related to particular exercises\/assignments throughout the course, I regularly return for inspiration. This is a tool I will try to incorporate into all of my work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I have recently acquired a phone with a more decent camera than my previous one. I hope to use this to start taking photos on a more regular basis of anything that captures my eye.
